Amy Murphy, MS, LPC-Associate
Under the supervision of Dr. Tiffany Wicks
I started my adult life intent on working with small children and helping them become
resilient and fascinating adults. After taking a long break raising my own family, I
returned to school to become a therapist hoping I could help teens and adults recover
from the battle scars left behind by life experiences and help them rediscover their
resilience and worth. Holding space as clients heal and find new passion is
immeasurably rewarding!
I joined The Liv Center as a practicum student in 2023 and have been working with
perinatal clients for the past year in a virtual setting. Since graduating in June of 2024, I
have been working with a variety of clients ranging from adolescent to elder adult. I find
that my greatest joy as a therapist comes from watching my clients begin to recognize
their worth and find victory in the daily challenges of life.
Outside of my virtual office, I love to sing, read, and connect with family and friends. On
any given weekend, I may be camping and communing with nature, or I may be at
home, snuggling in my living room with a cat or family member and a good book.
You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone, schedule an intro call and let’s navigate
the journey to healing together!
