Therapist

The world sometimes makes it seem that pregnancy and parenting are meant to be filled with pure joy. Yet, what if our experience does not match the vision we had for motherhood? Bringing life into this world and watching our children grow can be the most beautiful journey any person can pursue. At the same time, intrusive thoughts are real. Birth trauma is real. Navigating conflict with partners and family is real. Anxiety, depression, or simply struggling to find joy in pregnancy and motherhood is real. As a therapist, my goal is to create a validating space to normalize my client's experiences, helping them to create a life of balance and fulfillment. I have my Master’s Degree in Secondary School Counseling at the University of Texas at Dallas with the hope of working with adolescents and families. While I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral and Solutions-Focused therapy, I believe in creating a therapeutic experience that is uniquely catered towards your individual needs. You already have the strength within you to overcome any obstacle that life may bring. I look forward to going on the journey with you to use those strengths to flourish.
